What is the favorite activity of Breton families? Exploring the greenways by bike! Several routes are accessible to all, allowing you to reach the Brittany coast by pedaling. For instance, biking from Dinan to Dinard is a pure 23-kilometer change of scenery.
In the Dinan intercommunal territory (Dinan Agglomération), the pedestrian circuits offer is not short of diversity : between the local loop and the long itineraries (GR34), between rural and coastal landscapes, there is something for everyone. A total of 59 loop hikes has been identified.

The Rance Valley
The Rance Valley, an incredibly rich ecological niche, can be explored on foot, by car, by bike or by boat : the Abbey of Léhon, a town rewarded by the « Little Town of Character » label, the Manor of La Grand-Cour in Taden, the Coëtquen forest or the Windmill of the Prat at Vicomté-sur-Rance.

Only 45 minutes away from the hotel, you will discover the unmissable site of Mont Saint-Michel. Mont Saint-Michel has the particularity of being erected on a rocky tidal island, surrounded by a magnificent bay that is the site of the highest tides in continental Europe.
The Mont and its bay are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Located between Normandy and Brittany, this stunning site is the most visited place in France.
The City of Dinard
Dinard is an unmissable stopover during your stay in Dinan. Only 20 minutes away from the hotel, you will enjoy this small, human-size seaside resort facing Saint-Malo.
Dinard will surprise you with its splendid villas overlooking the sea, its town center and the activities it has to offer. Don’t miss its famous Moonlight Promenade. This beautiful coastal path runs from the Prieuré Beach to the Pointe du Moulinet headland. You can enjoy a magnificent view of Saint-Malo and its bay and observe the lush plant species bordering this promenade.
The City of Cancal
During your stay, we can only recommend a 35-minute-away stopover in Cancale to taste the legendary oysters of Cancale. With its many activities focused on the sea, the port lives to the rhythm of the tides. It developed in a natural shelter site and took shape with the construction of two dykes that delimit the current port.
Nowadays, after the shipyards era and the Grand Banks fishing days in Newfoundland, oyster farming and tourism enliven the docks of La Houle with the sea gardeners’ comings and goings in the oyster parks that appear at low tide.
Saint-Cast le Guildo
Surrounded by the bays of Arguenon and Fresnaye, the Saint Cast Nautical Centre delights all generations. Furthermore, the Pointe de l’Isle offers magnificent landscapes alternating between cliffs, rocky coves and fine sandy beaches. This remarkable spot is only a 45 minute drive away from the hotel.
The Cap Frehel
Open your eyes wide, you are in one of the most impressive sites in the region. Overlooking an emerald sea, battered by the winds, Cap Fréhel enchants with its beauty and shimmering colors. Its sheer cliffs are home to hundreds of nesting birds.
From the Pointe de Grouin to the island of Bréhat, the cape also offers 400 hectares of moorland, among the largest in Europe, and a majestic 103-meter-high lighthouse. This dazzling place is a one-hour drive from Dinan.
The City of Rennes
Ready for time travel? From the former Jacobin convent to the cobbled streets bordered with colorful half-timbered houses, several eras punctuate your stroll during this unmissable visit of the capital of Brittany.
40 minutes away from Dinan, you will discover the two-towered Mordelese Gates, typical of the defensive heritage, before reaching the City Hall, its plaza and the Parliament of Brittany, dating back to Gabriel, the architect of King Louis XV. A time jump that will take you to remarkable hôtels particuliers built, at the time, for these « Gentlemen of the Parliament”.
